Further Education Support

Over the past 15 years, the Mary Wood Trust has supported several of its sponsored girls in pursuing further education. We have helped students train as nurses and midwives, and others have progressed to university or technical college in numerous subjects including business administration, education, social work and administration, library and information science, records and information management, statistics, agriculture, animal husbandry, electrical installation, and law.
While the number of students we can support is limited, we are proud to help young women achieve their ambitions. If you would like to learn more, please get in touch.
The cost of each student is about £1500- £2000, for 3 or 4 years depending on which course they do.
